COVID-19 Update: We’re here to help.

Dear Valued Member,

Being a part of our Sioux Falls Fed family, your safety and success remains our highest priority. We understand the uncertainty COVID-19 brings and we are doing our best to understand, comply, adapt, and communicate. We are grateful for you and appreciate your patience as we navigate through the next steps of change together.

As of today, South Dakota has maintained a count of only 11 confirmed cases of COVID-19 and by following government and CDC recommendations we have been able to prevent community-wide spread of the illness thus far, but we ask you to please continue to keep a close eye on friends and family that fall into the “at higher risk” category as defined by the CDC.

What is Sioux Falls Fed doing?
Under the current directives, it is our intention to remain open to serve you. We have implemented best practices recommended by the CDC and will continue to monitor their reports along with other local Health Departments. In addition, we are continually looking for ways to be prepared to help serve your financial needs and help in our communities. Please reach out to us with your financial needs or concerns.

What can you do?
Our continued commitment is to help you with all of your financial needs. With your health and safety in mind, we encourage you to utilize the convenience of online and mobile banking tools to check balances, deposit checks, transfer funds or make payments. If you need help getting set up, using or navigating our website or mobile app please call us. ATM's are also available at many convenient locations through multiple networks across the country. For more information on these tools please visit our website.

If you are working with a loan officer or would like to, give us a call! We can coordinate document drop offs and in most situations arrange electronic signings via DocuSign. If you find that you must visit one of our locations we ask that you keep the CDC social distancing of 6 feet in mind when working with our staff.

Be aware of fraud.
There is an increase in fraudulent activity during this vulnerable time as stated in this release from Secret Service. Read Secret Service Release. Specifically, there are several fraudsters posing as COVID-19 or Coronavirus charities and information sites regarding the outbreak. They are exploiting the global thirst for knowledge about the virus by launching Coronavirus-themed phishing attacks to spread credential stealing malware. The emails, which contain an infected attachment or a link to a malicious website, are made to appear like they come from the CDC or the WHO.  Please, be conscientious in reviewing emails and providing personal or financial information. If you see any suspicious activity in your account, contact us as soon as possible.

We will continue to monitor the COVID-19 pandemic, evaluate additional measures, and continue communication as things unfold.
