Downtown Branch Remodel

Downtown Branch Remodel Your Downtown Branch is getting an update. Built in 1989, this highly anticipated update is scheduled to begin in November. Stay tuned for more updates!

Out with the Mauve – Your Downtown Branch will be getting a fresh look!

We are excited to announce that we will be remodeling your Downtown Branch!  In order to better serve you, our members, we are creating an updated, more efficient floor plan.  Our first construction phase will begin in November and the complete project will last approximately one year.

The Downtown Branch will remain open for business throughout the remodeling process.  However, during construction various sections of the branch will be blocked off and construction workers will be present, resulting in reduced space and some disruption.  Offices and staff will be relocated within the branch during different remodeling phases, however, they will continue to be happy to assist you with your financial needs.

All other Sioux Falls Fed branches will remain open as usual throughout this project.

We apologize in advance for any inconvenience this may cause you.  Here are some ways to manage your banking needs remotely if needed:

We appreciate your patience and look forward to serving you!

We are getting closer! The parking lot was redone and it looks awesome. In the next couple of weeks, painting will get finished up and carpet will be getting laid. It is hopeful that that breakroom will be completed in th next couple of weeks as well to make room for the fridge and vending machine once again. An ATM will be installed as we finish up the drive through space.

Phase 1 is complete! If you stop into the Downtown branch, you'll notice you now go left instead of right to enter the main space. It is there, that you will be greeted and find our new teller pods with a member associate ready to help.

Every week we get a little closer. Things are taking more and more shape with big front windows, greeters desk and wood ceiling installation. In the next few weeks we can expect to see the wood ceiling and flooring completed as well as finishing up the vault and breakroom. Construction has started on building a temporary wall behind the greeters desk for the beginnings of phase 2.

What a difference a little color can make!  Since our last update, paint has been added to our new office areas (orange and tan walls) and our front member assistance area has the pop of our Sioux Falls Fed blue.

Soon, our construction crew will be busy installing carpet, doors and our new wood ceiling.

Phase One of our remodel is moving along and is on schedule.

After the demolition of the west side on the first floor, we are excited to see the new design transformation.  Offices and the new lobby area will even be getting painted soon.

In the first part of April, we will start exterior work and installing new front windows, wood ceiling, carpet and tile.

Construction Update
January 14, 2019:

Where did the walls go?  The Downtown Branch remodel is making progress.  The construction crew completed the demolition of the west side of the first floor – knocking down walls and opening the space up.

Now that this space is down to the exterior walls, over the next couple of weeks new interior walls will be framed in.

Please note that the main entrance will be moved in the near future.  Members and visitors will enter on the east side of the old entrance.  We will have directional signs in place when this takes place.
