Member Service Associate - Part Time (Teller)

We are dedicated to building trusted relationships and helping our members live better financially every day. As a Member Service Associate, you are trusted to assist our members with their everyday transactions and needs: deposits, loan payments, problem solving, and the list goes on! This position offers the ability to think creatively to find solutions for each member you work with. 

Be a part of a passionate and caring organization, committed to helping our members live better. Sioux Falls Federal Credit Union is looking for a part-time Member Service Associate to work at our Downtown Branch.

This part-time opportunity is 24 hours per week. Weekday hours range from 7:15am-5:45pm M-F w/ 3 Saturdays per month 8:45am-12:15pm. Schedule to be determined. Primary responsibility is to serve our members by performing teller duties in the lobby & drive-up.

Successful candidates will:

Have a strong commitment to excellence in customer service to assist our members with the many credit union products and services to fit their needs.
Be a team player with effective communication and organizational skills.
Have previous customer service, cash handling, or sales experience in a high volume setting.
Robust passion to build ongoing relationships with members.

Member Service Officer

Do you have previous lending experience and a passion for helping people? In this role, you are trusted to assist our members with their everyday needs: saving for the future, new checking accounts, a child's first vehicle loan. The list goes on! This position offers the ability to think creatively to find solutions for each member you work with.

The successful individual is responsible for providing personalized financial products and services to members by performing the following duties:

  • Ensure complete and accurate loan documentation and approve loans within specified limits
  • Candidate must demonstrate the ability to exercise independent judgment by approving loan applications within established guidelines. Previous loan underwriting experience highly desired.
  • Interview and evaluate needs of potential members and offer appropriate financial products and services
  • Open new accounts and cards
  • Assist members with problem resolution and account reconciliation
  • Perform all the duties of a Universal Teller as needed
  • Ability to make sound, confident decisions and possess proven sales skills is required.
  • Must be able to read and understand credit reports and credit union policies and procedures. 

A qualified candidate will have an associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Business Services Associate

We are looking for a pro-active, highly accurate indidvidual to work daily with our commercial members and assist the Business Services department with administrative functions. Do you have previous commerical lending/banking experience?

Qualified candidates will have a proven professional background with an emphasis on detailed customer service and sales; analytical skills; and will be well-organized, dependable self starter. The preferred professional will have excellent oral and written communication skills and an Associate's Degree is preferred. Qualified candidates will have an Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; and 1 or more years related financial lending experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.  On-going education and training may be required.

Some duties of the position include:

Process commercial loan files; prepare and maintain loan files and tickler reports; prepares loan application and closing documents.
Makes loan disbursement entries.
Assist in research and error resolution activities for the Business Services Department.
Financial statement calculation.
Contacts prospective members to present information and open accounts for relevant services.
Develops and maintains relationships with members and perspective members

Facilities Specialist

Sioux Falls Federal Credit Union is seeking qualified applicants for a full-time Facilities Specialist position.

Individual is responsible for keeping premises of all credit union office buildings and branches in a clean and orderly condition.  Cleans internal & external areas of buildings including windows, carpet, and de-icing of walkways; may assist Facilities Manager with other maintenance duties and projects such as painting, landscaping, repairs, minor installation, and supplies, etc. 

Schedule may work around school or day shift hours. Applicants should be available for early evening or early morning shifts. Full or Part Time opportunity.

Qualified applicants will work independently based upon standard maintenance schedule as well as written work orders or verbal instructions from supervisor.  A strong commitment to service, teamwork, ethics, quality, safety and security, dependability, & initiative is highly desired.  Previous janitorial and maintenance experience required.  A valid driver’s license with positive driving record is required.
